Around the world, the first Comic Con event took place in 1970 in San Diego and was attended by 145 fans of comic books, movies and science fiction, which has since grown into a global phenomenon and widely recognized as the leading pop culture event.
Bringing the international Comic Con model, Manga Comic Con Vietnam was born in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022, with the mission to bring to the community that loves manga, anime, comics, models, cosplay, technology, games, movies in Vietnam an international pop culture event. This is a space for like-minded souls to meet, especially a destination for the talents in each community to shine with their own passion.
Going further, our vision is to become an annual event that contributes to making Vietnam the leading destination in Southeast Asia for the international community that loves pop culture, on par with countries like Singapore or Thailand.
